  • After checking back I found someone changed my news. Nice. I really wish my ISP knew how to lock down their sever better. I try to help them but I am nothing but an annoying customer to them. Maybe it's time to move this to somewhere more secure since the script kiddies can't find better and more constructive things to do.

  • I have been updating this site from time to time. My WoW art section changes as I create more and more graphic signatures. I am considering changing this over to a Blog style so then I will keep up with this site better.

  • I found this site that tells you if a CD you want to buy is supporting the RIAA. Do not support these asshats! Go to RIAA Radar and look it up. Let the RIAA know you do not like it when they sue 12 year olds for copywrite infringment!01.02.07

    The Canadian version of the RIAA has tried to stop file sharing again and failed. How stupid is it to just throw yourself against a wall until it gives (which I hope it does not).

  • I am on World of Warcraft. Server: Lightning Blade / Character: Circuit Undead Warlock. I highly recommend this online game if you are any kind of RPG gamer. It is well thought out and very well done.

File Sharing in Canada

  • A judge here in Canada sent the Canadian version of the dreaded RIAA (from the US) packing when they tried to sue some major ISP's to make them reveal their customer's information through their IP addresses. They must have thought that our laws are the same as the American ones. They were wrong. We pay a tariff on blank media (CD-R/RW's) that goes directly to the Canadian Recording Artists. They have collected over $28 million from this tariff last year alone. This is to offset the supposed loss from Canadian's copying of music. The judge said that he didn't see any difference between a library that has a photocopying machine in it verses a computer user who puts a music file in their shared directory on their computer. I love it!

    In the end the rules in Canada are you can download all you want, just do not upload.
